Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Silver Blue in the Maggard V2 Open Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Reef Point Submariner aftershave. Bob

Williams Wednesday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Williams Jayaruh #367 Badger/Boar AutoStrop B1 Valet AutoStrop (8) CWR Pinaud Lilac Vegetal My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #367 Badger/Boar brush. I did one pass with clean ups with the AutoStrop B1 razor with a Valet AutoStrop blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Lilac Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
My midweek SOTD: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Gillette day 4 Vi John Menthol SC Prep ASB Alt Innsbruck AS Splash This Vi John Menthol cream is a joke - I don’t think I felt even the slightest hint of cooling from it whatsoever. On the other hand it lathers great and it has very good postshave care which is very important. The Prep gave me its wonderful cooling sensation along with lots of soothing moisturizing and the Alt Innsbruck felt icy cold, not to mention how lovely it smells. No complaints about this shave at all - it turned out BBS in two easy passes. Soon it’s off to the golf course!
