Travel Tabac Tuesday SOTN

Yes indeed another fantastic shave by the Ikon Deluxe OC with the B1 coating and Super Iridium blade... Slick as ever with the trusty Tabac travel stick. I'm smooth and smell great for bed. Should I pull out my black Qshave Futur Clone for tomorrow's Birthday Shave or stick with the same??

New in today's shave are the Williams soap and a Treet Platinum for the Stahly. Very smooth but BIC remains my favorite here. My BIC stockist in Phnom Penh seems to have gone missing so will have to find an alternative .

Reef Point Submariner today. 20 seconds to load the Wild West Brushworks/Elite Razor Manchurian White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Silver Blue in the Maggard V2 Open Comb. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Reef Point Submariner aftershave.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #367 Badger/Boar brush. I did one pass with clean ups with the AutoStrop B1 razor with a Valet AutoStrop blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Lilac Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This Vi John Menthol cream is a joke - I don’t think I felt even the slightest hint of cooling from it whatsoever. On the other hand it lathers great and it has very good postshave care which is very important. The Prep gave me its wonderful cooling sensation along with lots of soothing moisturizing and the Alt Innsbruck felt icy cold, not to mention how lovely it smells. No complaints about this shave at all - it turned out BBS in two easy passes. Soon it’s off to the golf course!
