Well I was going to do a restore for a fellow member here, I usually like get warmed up with another brush, so I won't of fell out of practice.

It's a Peerless brush that
@Rev579 PIFed in a group and that
@brit won. He had the group sent to me due to he had me do some work for him and he kindly gave this to me.
The base was badly chipped due to the plastic it was made of, so I set it to the side till I could find a replacement for its base.
Then I found a Century cosmetic brush and decided that would fill the bill.

After removing the knots and joining them with a short piece of 3/4" copper pipe, filling it with epoxy and BB's (for weight). I then dropped in a 22mm Synbad knot.

I believe the top was bakelite or early plastic (1940's early 50's) due to it was very hard and I could only enlarge it (very slightly) with a sanding drum.
A merger between Peerless and Century brush company almost 50 years after their companies closure.
