SOTD AUGUST 23 ...and now, for something completely different. Today I shaved with a new to me budget shave cream, Arko Sensitive. And it was a delight. I really love the budget shave cream genre. Cheap as dirt, super lather monsters and this one fits well into the category of unscented.

Friday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Palmolive Shaving Cream Jayaruh #206 TNNSER CVS CS CWR English Leather AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Palmolive Shaving Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 Brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER razor with a CVS CS SE Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Friday Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Sandpiper Soap: RazoRock Tuscan Oud Razor: Vintage Gillette Fat Boy Blade: Vintage Gillette Spoiler Super Stainless (11) Brush: RazoRock/Zenith Chubby Extra Silvertip-28mmx51mm Aftershave: RazoRock Tuscan Oud WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) RazoRock Tuscan Oud today. 20 seconds to load the RazoRock/Zenith Chubby Extra Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” Super Stainless blade still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with RazoRock Tuscan Oud aftershave. Bob

Friday morning: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Shark day 5 Rockwell Barbershop SS Rockwell Barbershop ASB A “Canadian Pride” setup today - this Rockwell soap is the finest from the Great White North IMHO. It’s got such a beautiful, true old school barbershop scent with awesome lather and great skincare. The matching balm has that same scent and feels so good on the skin. My Super Speed/Shark combination gave me another perfect BBS shave in just two swift passes! Wishing y’all a wonderful weekend!
