the "made in england" and "gillette" insignia are below the bar pins on the service set and above the bar pins on common ones,they also have more post war type safety guards than the more common flat bottom techs..
2 not so common British Tech razors. First one is referred to as a hybrid tech by collectors. The actual name of the razor as given to it by Gillette is a heavy-type. Set number is No. 40 and the date of 1947 is corroborated by this advert. The next is a 4 piece tech, handle style is called a telescopic handle. Set it was sold in was a No 26 in 1946.
