Today I received my KureNai (GF33S) shavette. It has an unbranded blade inside, looks like a guarded blade.
Does some one know if this blade is safe to use or is it better to use right away my Dorco or Schick blades?

The razor looks very well made and feels sturdy.

A four days growth shave with this razor and blade.
Don't know if it's because the four days growth but the blade was tugging. Could be this blade is not the best.
Tomorrow an other try with just a regular 1 days growth shave, see how this turns out.

1 day growth. Blade has no tugging. Now find out how long this blade will last.

What you have is a fixed-handle knockoff of the Kai Zebrano, which is basically Kai's version of the Feather SS (lipped profile).

I have the GF-35 from the same seller. It's a knockoff of Kai Captain folding version but made to take only half-DE blades.

The build quality is excellent, and I love the razor. Given my experience with this seller, I'd have no qualms about buying any of their clones, especially given the low cost/risk.

    Enjoy it!

For sure It's a good shaver, on the cheap side about the handle.

Razor: Kai style (Luffy) AC Shavette- Mfg 2018> well made zamic shavette, seems to handle well in hand and holds blade secure.
Blade: Kai Protouch guarded(3) excellent blade, Sharp & smooth, great for learning or seasoned shavers. Less nicks & irritation!
Soap: Cyril R Salter Sandal wood cream- great scent with great lather qualities. Some claim a true Sandal wood scent!
Brush: Yaqi artic sky 24mm knot- nice to look at & great lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips with some back bone with excellent scrub and great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with Cerave hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Witch Hazel + Ogallala Bayrum & sandal wood [IMG] + a dollop of Nivea balm(-30C & 39 humidity indoors)
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 2 small weepers=[IMG]excellent shave with my Kai style (Luffy) shavette with a Kai Protouch guarded blade.

Thanks to a friend, I tested the Sapphoo KureNai G1105 Black.

Except for a few details, it's almost the clone of the Kasho Kai Captain R7.

The body of the razor is the same size.
The weight is slightly different, as is the color.
But close enough, although I prefer the Titanium color of the original.
However, the steel-colored satin finish of the KureNai is also beautiful.

Some difference is in the handle.
Both weight, shape, length, and balance.
The resin is similar to the original, but less dense.
Welds at the spacer and center "pin" are also less graceful.
Like the quality of screws and washers that connect the body.
But even here, in practice it is not noticeable.

The only important difference I found was in the locking mechanism.
The original spring is definitely more performing, given the size and arching.
The resulting movement is also simpler and with greater excursion.
This helps to have a better grip on the blade in the Captain.
Also because the machining accuracy of the armor is different.
In the photo it's noted that in the KureNai in the center it is not accurate.
But even here, in shaving it is almost not noticeable.
More in the disassembly for cleaning.
    But not too much.

In comparison to the classic R7, this G1105 performs well.
The difference in value is much lower than the price difference.
Which becomes embarrassing compared to special editions.

Among the various models available, I believe that the KureNai G0420 is the most balanced.
Of this I prefer the shape of the handle and the fact that it is made of wood.
Beyond that of the body, more sinuous and similar to Feather.

Nice review, I just started using a AC Shavette and bought a Kai Luffy style from Sapphoo store and to be honest learning with a Kai Protouch blade is a nice shave, Kai makes great blades & razors. The DE Kai SS is a all star blade IMO also because it is .009 thousands wider than a standard Gillette blade for more blade feel.

    Luffy was a special edition.
    Sapphoo has the green handle.
Has Red blade too, great replica of Kai ProTouch.

I ordered those blades in the Green tab dispenser( Protouch clone blade) but they sent me the blue tap dispenser (regular blade) and it was to much blade sharpest for this rookie so I Ordered the real Kai Protouch guarded blades with no regrets. Kai makes excellent blades both in Artist Club & DE and now a happy camper.
