What Manly Things Did You Do Today?

Talked to the cat. She started a conversation after she'd been fed. Don't know what she was saying but it sounded serious. I need to go for a walk.

 

Most likely she was complaining about the poor tip she would leave because of the delayed service or because the presentation of her food was off.

Went to work, spoke with many people, came home and mowed my yard. Then went to a block party, a couple of houses down. BYOB.

 

My 1970's Newcomb school record player was having an electrical issue. Worked on replacing old / installing new capacitors. waiting for the last one to come in the mail tomorrow.

 

Hello! Today! I split some wood and cleaned and seasoned 3 cast iron skillets.

 

In a few months, when it dries out, I will have 1/2 cord of live oak to split. I did this, last summer, and am thinking of buying a small log splitter. Splitting wood, with an axe, is not as fun as it use to be.

 

This morning. I agree totally! Lol

 

I replaced 10 ventilation box's insulation today. The wife and I found the previous A/C unit was allowing condensation, and black mold was growing inside the vent boxes, and throughout the insulation. Now I itch all over. Fiberglass.

 

Woof. That is rough. We planted the garden and mowed. But nothing like that

 

I don't know how manlly it is but I went back to work today. Didn't do much of anything over the weekend.

 

Work on removing knots on about 8 brushes and kept the house from burning. Strange stinky story.

 

I'm babying an cherry tomato plant inside under a light. It's about 6" tall. Just put up a stick for it to lean on.

Wahl clippers, 1" on top, 3/4" back and sides. Blended with the old hair trimmer.
