Ollie weighs 13 pounds, so I guess that qualifies as a miniature. He's fearless too and has kept the yard critters at bay. His favorites are birds, but he's only caught one that I know of so far.

 

Great shave, Joe! I suspect I’ll be doing a focus with on of my Barber’s razors or maybe all three this next month. I really need to work on my neck. I can easily achieve a VBBS above the jawline, but just can’t seem to be able to do so on my neck! Maybe with more practice the will change.

 

They are great little hunters which unfortunately, is why so many end up in the shelters.

 

I understand why you feel that way. Hopefully, by the end of my 10 shave experiment that I will come up with the easiest way to deal with this soap so that you get great lathers and a decent amount of shaves for the entire puck.

I always get DFS around my Adam's Apple as well, Definitely Flayed or Skinned.

I like the idea of the SE as touchup or perhaps final pass where it counts most. Conserve the extra cost for the blade! After all I've spent spent on razors I still obsess over cost per shave for blades.
I will try that with my new General, historically my preferred touch up is my DE Alum Lupo.

Is there anywhere to get AC blades in bulk? I can only find purchases of 20, no further bulk discount unlike DE blades which I usually buy as 50 or 100.

 

Thanks, Jim! It’s done, but I always feel like I’ve gone 10 rounds with Joe Louis afterwards. It eases up after a day or two, but then I still have one more in a week from next Monday. Thank goodness it’s only twice a year. Let me tell you, this old age business ain’t for sissies!

Great shave, Joe! I’ll probably be doing a focus with my three Barber’s razors next month. I’m going to achieve a VBBS on my neck, and a focus seems to be the only way to get there.
