I recently got this Beau Brummel Up-Rite 460 brush, and it's the only one I've ever seen. I used a boar knot from an Omega brush that had an inexpensive handle. And I touched up the black areas that had some wear on them.................
First pic Rubberset 200-2 with donor knot from an Omega brush. Second pic after installation and white letters touched up...............
Thank you Joseph. I just use a paint brush with white paint and then wipe it off. Depending on the quality of the letters, I might have to repeat doing it. Then I put on a clear coat for added protection.
...and the paint stays in the "grooves" and doesn't stick to the handle? I have a dd #4 that could use the same process. What kind of paint do you recommend?
