Thank you Keith.
Holy smokes. Sweet brush!
I recently got this Beau Brummel Up-Rite 460 brush, and it's the only one I've ever seen. I used a boar knot from an Omega brush that had an inexpensive handle. And I touched up the black areas that had some wear on them.................
Looks great Jim!
looks awesome Jim,nice work..
Thank you Gary.
That's a nice and neat looking brush. I love the style. Great job getting it back like that Jim.
First pic Rubberset 200-2 with donor knot from an Omega brush. Second pic after installation and white letters touched up...............
awesome Jim.one of my favorite brushes,..nice job..
What's your process to "touch up" the lettering?
Thank you Joseph. I just use a paint brush with white paint and then wipe it off. Depending on the quality of the letters, I might have to repeat doing it. Then I put on a clear coat for added protection.
...and the paint stays in the "grooves" and doesn't stick to the handle? I have a dd #4 that could use the same process. What kind of paint do you recommend?
