  7. Very good shave this morning. 0:40 for the first pass loading, followed by 0:20 for the second. I was surprised to load so much for the second, but it told me I cranked out a lot of soap for the first. Nice sweeping motions both passes. No cuts/Knicks. Went good and slow up the sides of North Porcupine Alley. That nice CHILLED feeling of Glacial Electric Sheep! Cactus looks and feels great. Put out a little extra Agua Lavenda de Puig(aftershave). Frank Sinatra and I agree-great scent. (Course Frank never knew me). OUTTA THIS WORLD EXCELLENT.

I decided to go with the Proraso this morning for a mild menthol shave. I heavy-loaded my brush for a great, creamy lather. My first pass is always with the grain. I could have called the shave finished, but I always do a second pass that is against the grain. Had to do some light pickups on my neck, but man oh man, what a great BBS shave! Proraso may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I have never had a bad shave with it.
I hardly got any zings from the alum treatment so it tells me that I really got a nice, close, comfortable shave. Did the witch hazel treatment and I followed with the Proraso aftershave. My skin is radiant and I feel refreshed. Have a good day!

    AoS Oud~~Simpson 57 "Douglas"~~1908 Gillette/Platinum~~Cambodiya Oud Oil
This is legit: By shimming the blade, I "adjusted" the gap. Yessiree Bob.
    That's EXACTLY what I did.

Full disclosure: I have done this many times in the past with this razor.
I keep a shim in its storage case.
    Almond-size
finger-full of the AoS shaving cream was directly applied
to the beard area. Face is oh-so slightly damp.
Douglas worked his Super-Badger magic and transformed a sticky, pasty goo,
into a slick 'n shiny lathericious layer of goodness.

Doing a complete 180˚ switch-up from yesterday's beefy Game Changer,
the Gillette Single Ring is ultra-light, whispy, nimble.
Focus is on NOT applying pressure, as this razor will mos def© tear your face up.
My face was spared any and all injustices and the results were more than lovely.

Received my very first "100%" oud oil in yesterday's mail.
    Application, according to tradition, is to first apply a line of the oil to the back of your right hand;
then dab behind each ear; then to the inside of both wrists.
Gently massage the oil into the skin and apply residual on fingers to clothing.

    SRS # 551

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: C V Heljestrand 14. 7/8” Camel Bone Scales
    Brush: Jayaruh 381 Badger/Boar
Lather: PAA Atomic Pumpkin Bay Rum
Aftershave: PAA Atomic Pumpkin Bay Rum
    Osage Rub
    Additional Care:
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original
    Nivea Cool Balm
    Stirling Alum Block
Another triple H day. I had a great three pass shave with the CV H razor. The Jayaruh Badger/Boar brush whipped up a huge amount of super slick lather. My usual three passes for an excellent end result. I did get one weeper one on the upper left sideburn area which the witch Hazel and alum made fast work of.

Hope you are having a great day gentlemen.
