No sorrow, Hans! I’ll be 75 on my next birthday. I had 41 years with her. Thanks for the thoughts, but no regrets on my part, just being a sentimental old man!

    Unmarked shoulderless blade
Suds: Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber
    Splash: B&M Good Vibrations
I lean towards a vintage German blade on this one… and it takes a great edge. :)

Nice looking razor Tom, almost like a twist between frame back and a hollow.

Thanks Jeff, quite easy to make. And the clever thing is the magnet that holds the tail firmly. 4 pounds of force.

Filarmonica 14 Sub Cero, soap was ABC lathered with a 2-band Keyhole copy, and a dab of ABC balm finished up.

The ABC hard soaps come in waxed paper, so I’ve been trying a few different containers and will probably keep it in this burl thuya wood bowl. They’re classy and can actually be had for about the same price as any decent wooden soap bowl that doesn’t stain your soap. Smoky Mountain Knife works has them for $27.

Hishakaku 500 #2 up today, as Hans said, ‘smooth as a peach’ from the Yasuki steel and a very thinly ground edge though it is a 1/4 hollow. Soap was Savonnerie du Moulin 40% donkey milk, and a splash of Myrsol blue.
