I think out of new cars automatics do outsell manuals here these days, but still plenty of options left on this side of the pond! Maybe not for long though.

 

the cased one appears to be,alot shinier than my other.someone suggested it may have been replated,but england sold a silver plate example like the u.s did.it would be a lot of work to replate one of these without it looking obvious..the cased set was also near NOS.just missing the strop.?.could easily be a built up set as well.80+ years old..

that makes sense.still lots of smaller hatchbacks and compacts in Europe.everyone here loves their SUV's..i drive a 2015 ford fiesta with a stick these days.sold the mustang last year.it has a small turbo at least..

Hatchbacks are very popular. Plenty of SUV:s here too though, maybe not quite as much as there. Nothing wrong with a Fiesta!

Yes I was. Unfortunately, the younger generation wouldn't pick up on the auto reference of that word.
