    Thanks for the suggestions @Hogie . I purchased the Feather used and the seller included 3 full packages of Pros. They are exceptional in the Vector. I think it was the awkward angle of the jawline that caused the cut.

    My Gillettes have taken a back seat this month to all my single edge razors. It's like finding a treasure I had forgotten I had! And the Shavettes are nice now that I have them tamed. I am so glad I got the Feather DX and I really like the clone Kamisori style that Jeff gave me now that I have it under control. VERY nice shavers. I may even buy a real Feather Kamisori. The one I got from Jeff has a weak spring and the removable section fits loosely.

    EDIT: I did some research and I now know that the Kamisori that Jeff gifted to me is a Kai. I have it loaded with a Mild blade now and will use it this week to see how I do with the mild blade instead of the ProGuard. I seem to have technique down now.

    Thank you Joe.....the Bill Neumann soap resembles a pancake, It'll take a lot of patience to whittle it down.
