Happy Monday I guess. At least it is Monday. I decided to go with MdC Fougère as my next 3017 target. My shave log indicates I had 66 shaves on this puck before this morning. I am not sure that MdC does any one thing better than many other soaps. However, I always seem to get a fantastic shave when I use MdC and this morning was no exception. A splash of witch hazel followed by Agua Balsamica left me feeling and smelling great. This soap and after shave are a near perfect pairing. I am looking forward to this 3017.

I'm closing in on a 3017-my Pierre Cardin cologne.
If that is a photo of you, my name ain't Paul Turner. It isn't, therefore it is. :)

    Day 17
I’ve picked some neglected razors recently around the belief that I might move on from them. This Occam’s has given me two outstanding shaves the past few days. I’m keeping this one too. So far- Occam’s and DS Cosmetic Z0 are keepers…Yaqi Katana is exiting the den…The OC SS Hawk is a maybe.

    Thanks, Clint.
The Zenith loft is shorter than the Mondial. After using it yesterday, I am not convinced they are manufactured by the same company.

All the different Zenith brush models have different lofts. The thinness of the bristles and almost non existent break in of both have me convinced they are made at the same place or at least source the raw materials from the same place.

    AoS Lavender~~Zenith~~Cooper MonoBilt/Gillette Platinum~~Gucci Guilty Absolute
    Day Nine

Second shave with the Zenith and, as Clint said, this knot'll break in quite quickly.
    It's already soft.
As you can see, it was very competent creating some great lather.

The Cooper is made of sturdy stuff and shaves great, too.
One of my favorite stanks completed today's shave.
    Gucci Guilty Absolute.

Great looking shave Joseph. I just checked and my Zenith Olive Wood has a taller loft than my Mondial. However my new Zenith Blue brush has a shorter loft.

    Day 18
I’ll be taking a one day break from the 3017. Shaved at home this morning, but then drove a few hours away this afternoon for a meeting and will be staying overnight. Back on focus Thursday.
