Sunday, April 9 MWF~~Simpson CH2~~Cobra Classic/Schick Proline~~Agua Lavanda Puig Day Thirty-Eight and I have moved the MWF to my Aesop SS bowl. This will provide ample surface area to facilitate heavy loading. The MWF ceramic bowl is deep and has straight sides, so my brushes clank against them. No longer.
April 9, 2023 Karve with D Plate Paladin Gillette 7 O’clock Black Mitchell’s Wool Fat Terre D’Hermès A beautiful sunny Sunday morning here in the ATL. My nephews and my Mom are coming over this afternoon. It will be nice to have everyone together. The MWF provide a rich slick lather and the Karve knocked the stubble down. The TdH left me smelling great.
Happy Easter guys! The last time I checked in, I was 3017 on a tub of Arkadia. It’s now gone, but the three matching AS aren’t, and I intend to keep that scent in my life going forward. I singled out Baker Street next. I bought it out of curiosity, never really cared for it, and always felt a mild reaction to it. I’ve given it more than a fair chance now after using it six days a week. The tub is down to the cheap seats, and I want it gone so I can move to a spring/summer scent. I’m probably stopping the 3017 approach for spring and summer. I like thinning the herd, but it’s a smaller percentage of the year and I enjoy using all of the warm weather scents. MITA is the lowest right now because it’s my favorite, but if I use it up I’ll just replace it anyway. Anyway there’s my update. I’ve been busy, but realized I’ve been absent from TSD for a long spell.

After a week of playing with some different products, I’m jumping back in with another 3017 project tomorrow. There is a fair amount left in this 6ish year old tub of Gin&Tonic. It will take me some time for sure, and I’ll cycle through appropriate splashes with it:
April 10 Gillette Old Type Single Ring (1911) Astra SP (3) Omega 40033 boar Stirling Arkadia (20) Alum, witch hazel, USB, Isa Knox aftershave I've used the same setup for a few weeks, and everything works perfectly together. A noticeable depression in the puck has formed, but plenty of soap remains. I'm half-way through the Isa Knox aftershave. I use it morning and evening, so it will finish up in short order.
