Hajamat is an Indian producer. https://hajamat.in/ Today I received a refill of Intense Oud hard soap. https://theshaveden.com/forums/posts/2081472/ In addition to hardness and fragrance, I was intrigued by the formulation. (INCI) Simple but refined, and with some interesting functional ingredients. These are the models available. An intriguing added value is the price. In the domestic market, it's equivalent to a couple of Euros.
Today the first contact. https://theshaveden.com/forums/posts/2081768/ I was pleasantly surprised by the smoothness. Embarrassing primary lubrication, almost excessive. Predictably, the secondary is poor. Too much coconut, too little stearin. The comfort when shaving was great. Definitely less during the day. It needs a post treatment. The fragrance is very pleasant. Woody, spicy, sometimes citric. With a vague herbaceous and balsamic halo. This is definitely the most amazing detail. Especially considering that in India it costs as much as an espresso.
Sounds like the perfect candidate for a Seven Potions uber-lather. Nice brush, by the way. Where did you get it?
Thanks for sharing this new soap and reviewing it for us. Always like to reading about shaving soaps that I’m unfamiliar with.
Today I adapted my technique. https://theshaveden.com/forums/posts/2081968/ A little edge treatment. A little support in post. And there you go. Everything perfect. ------ I don't feel this way. SP is more than enough by itself. Just needs time to get the best from it ... The brush comes from the Spanish forum Foro Afeitado. It's a LE in team with VL. http://www.ilrasoio.com/viewtopic.php?p=304559#p304559 At the moment, just my first impressions.
Since the departure of Central Teexas Shavesoaps, I found another Texas company-Hub City Shave Soaps. I have their WTX(West Texas)and would like to get another one for the colder moths(Pages).
