Saturday, October 28 AoS Unscented~~SOC Boar~~Gillette New LC/Gillette Platinum~~Dehn Al Oodh Malaki Yesterday, I performed a very rare head-shave. Not because I think it's cool, but I have to apply a medicinal cream to my head, and even though I am folicularly challenged, it's annoying, so I shaved my head with my Feather AS-D2. My scalp didn't like it and I am washing my pillowcase as I type. Today was a traditional shave and was infinitely more successful. Excellante Jubilatis lather from the Art of Shaving cream. The Gillette New LC is a nice tool and one with which I enjoy shaving, Silky smooth in three. Stank is a one-dimensional Oud by Swiss Arabian. If you enjoy Oud, this is a winner. Layers well with other scents, too.

I need to get back in time for the UGA vs Florida game, aka “The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party”. Another fantastic shave to start what I hope will be a good day. October 28 Firmly committed to consuming my shaving stockpile at an alarming rate, I continue with the same basic setup while 3017ing my stash of Astra SP blades, Fine L'Orange Noir aftershave, Stetson cologne and Proraso cream. It's a bit of mix and match, but it does the job for me. Super nice shave this morning on two days of growth. We had some landscaping work completed, and I introduced a couple of the guys to DE shaving with Parker 99Rs, Stirling synthetic brushes, Personna blades, and Stirling Executive Man software. They'll soon be turning heads at their local Piggly Wiggly like @Paul Turner and @Keithmax. I hope you all have a great weekend. We've been invited to a Lasagna dinner with some friends tonight, so it should be a fun time. Big thanks to my friend @Douglas Carey for the Red Tip. It always reminds me of him when I use it. It pairs well with my expertly crafted @jtspartan LE brush. I emptied the tube of Proraso into a container for ease of use.
BTW, I picked up several tubes of Proraso last year when I was in the Old Country. You can find it at grocery and drug stores there for about 4€ each. I couldn't pass it up. It doesn't contain a hint of tallow, but it's still in my Top 5. It makes a humdinger of a fine lather, and I like the frosty feel especially when I use cold water.

Hi guys. I’ve been on a bit of a forum break since mid September. Things have been a bit hairy around these parts. Still shaving, just doing much less cyber stuff… Anyway the Fine’s Snake Bit gave up a few days ago . The scraps were placed in the chazt scraps jar, and a fresh puck has made the scene. I’m ready to enjoy it again next Spring!
