Does she let you say anything about fiddles(course they LOOK like violins, but more suitable for country&western music).

    Mitchell's Wool Fat (Cavendish infused)~~Simpson CH2~~Barbasol FH~~T. Habanero
The infused wool fat turned out great.
All the qualities of the OG w/the added scent of Cavendish pipe tobacco.

Back from Tokyo and time to catch up:

I have not traveled for a long time so I brought along Tabac to ensure quality shaves. Two new purchases in Tokyo, Tom Ford Oud Wood and a high beat Grand Seiko. Of course the Karve razor was loaded with a Feather blade.

Since I am inbetween 3017 this week is devoted to variety and finding the next target. My trip inspired me to use Japanese steel this week, this razor is my first JWest razor, Takayana Feon, hollow ground and takes and holds and excellent edge. I do enjoy the Awesome Sauce in the summer so it is a prime target. For a warm day why not at least smell like the Himalayas.

Today's JWest steel is a Suzuki Niles 7/8 full hollow, yup the steel is excellent. For years my favorite boar was Omega Pro but this Zenith is excellent and tied in boar preferences now. In the bowl is another summer favorite and doubles as bug repellent, Stirling Electric Sheep, also a contender for the next 3017. As for stank SMN Aqua di Cuba, another warm weather favourite of mine.

Completing JWest and variety week. Next week I will decide and reveal the next 3017.

For Friday I went an unusal JWest razor, This Atlas is a 7/8 near wedge. Most JWest razors I have seen are full hollow grinds. Also to celebrate Friday and ebonite Shavemac brush which did a job on the MdC brain bowl. Next time I buy MdC soap, maybe 10 years from now I will go with the tub instead of the messy but cool looking brain bowl. Tabarome Missésime for some nice spring weather.

Saturday is a cool cloudy day so a nice time to wear the Tauer L'Air du Désert Marocain, that is a mouthful. I do enjoy the Tabula Rasa so given the scent it is prime candidate for the next 3017. Not in the mood for a straight razor shave today so went with my Asylum Rx with a Feather Pro. Somehow the brush did not make the picture.

    Here is the next 3017.

This shave soap is the original P.160. It is rock-hard and I expect it to last quite a while, but...
that's the point of a 3017, is it not?

At least THAT green can be explained,as it's of the lime persuasion.

It was a busy week, time to catch up. I selected the PAA Awesome Sauce for the next 3017. This one is a joy all around, lather quality and scent.

    p - 3.jpeg

First shave of the this 3017 I brought out the big guns (for DE) my 2013 R41 loaded with a Super Iridium. To make it extra special I went with the shockingly priced Roja Dove Vetiver and something fancy for my wrist.

Shave 2, Portland Razor Co kami, Thätrer brush and vintage Brut. I am hooked on the vintage Brut. Watch of the day is special one, a good friend sold me this rare unobtanium watch.

The original Brut is amazing. To think it was a "drugstore" stank.

So was Old Spice, and we know the story-if your grandfather hand't worn it, you wouldn't be here.
