C&E Sweet Almond Oil creams come through again. The fault was me pushing the envelope with the Feather ACD-N. Damn, I got a close shave though. It's those tiny little nooks and crannies, even with stretching that make it so tough. I'm learning though. All this will pay off in the end when I do more with str8s. Each time I pick a str8 up my technique gets better.
Nope. I halved my beard last week. The results were definitely unsatisfying on the cheek and neck areas. I haven’t tried the Van Dyke yet, I’m afraid to cut too much. I posted this photo just because it was there, unloved. (Thank you)

I take it you were in Mass at the time? Hey, it was no big deal. Just got a couple of days off work. Didn't even lose power. Matter of fact, we had just moved into the house one week before...from an apartment. Talk about a shock! I hadn't shoveled snow in years and was faced with two feet of it - 4' in some places! I have a snowblower now.

TSD Lilac soap (another first with this one - and yet another great soap!) Simpson T2 TESC Gold Chatsworth Feather, day 7 (now Retired) Thayer's unscented Floid aftershave Almost the same as yesterday...why mess with success?! Actually, the Thayer's is "Original (Astringent)" with 10% grain alcohol, though I don't notice the booze. I also use their Lavender and Rose and maybe it's my imagination, but this one just doesn't feel the same. Not bad, just different. Anyone else notice that?
