I have several razors I alternate between.
    59 SS
    62 Slim Adjustable
    Feather AS D2
    EJ89
    Merkur HD Barber Pole
    Cadet Open Comb
Last nights BBS was the moment I guess I had all the right angles pressure speed and grace.
    Truly love the TECH.

Love the Ball End Tech! It's what I learned to DE shave with and was my favorite razor- until I tried the Fat Handle Tech. It's the absolute perfect razor for me.

You can keep all yer fancy, aggressive, adjustable razors: I'll take the much under-appreciated Tech any day of the week. Heck, we should start a Tech club!;)

It is a very underrated razor. Often looked over because of its mild reputation.

I find this behavior at the gym. People want to lift heavy weights despite having bad form just to impress others not for the results.

this really is a good idea, there are so many Techs, they were made for long time and I bet just about everyone on this forum has at least one Tech. I have two; a gold ball end a travel tech.

Count me in as a techie. I had my first shave today with a fat handle tech loaded with an Astra SP. I can't believe how great it shaved. Not sure if I'm ready to give up my Weber yet, but the tech is definitely a now valued part of my rotation.

I'm a Techie as well. My first DE I ever bought was an Aluminum Tech made in England in 1970.

Even though it was relieved by a Schick Krona a few days ago, it holds a special place in my heart and started my wet shaving obsession.

I have a few pre-war Techs now and I could easily get rid of all my other razors and live with them. I've been seriously considering doing that actually.

Just comes to show that overly aggressive is not always 'best'.
I do love my OC razors like the Barbasol and Gillette Big Boy...BUT...there are times when I reach for much 'milder' razors like my black tip and love it just as much.

The Techs made a pretty good showing during 3-piece week too :)

Love my Tech...but I have an adjustable executive that I favor :) I tend to go a week off shaving every so often and I don't think anything could make the short work my fatboy makes of it on 9.

BTW, my gold ball end tech has a "Z1", anyone know what year it is?

Thanks...I know there's a handy dandy chart around somewhere, but i could only find the convoluted one on B&B googling.
