False. All three of my names are common spellings. TPBM Learned the metric system back in the 70's when we were all supposed to switch to it.
True. I finished high school and went to college in the mid-late 70's, and can still do some conversions. Actually comes in handy sometimes. TPBM knows what a Moisin-Nagant is.
