Here's the black Teflon one I saw in that other forum. (Not the big forum. The English one ) Maybe this deserves its own thread. Or heck, maybe someone else already started one.
No idea at all. I've made an inquiry to the gunsmithing company in Colorado to find out what they'd charge. A guy on the other forum seemed to like the results. And using Cerakote, they seem to be able to coat/plate in a whole lot of colors... From traditional gloss or matte black and brushed stainless to fire-engine red, gunmetal blue (which would look cool), various greens, etc. I'll report back in a new thread what I find.
Wow that's awesome. I wonder if it would be wrong to pick up some vintage gilletts with plate loss for this treatment.
I have not yet read anywhere in the rules anything that says no Cerakote customizations...It's your razor. So cool.
I saw a Fatboy once on here that was taken apart and powder coated black with red spring indicator and numbers. Looked rat rod. So cool. Don't remember who it was now.
Unfortunately, it's currently CONUS, at the moment. I apologize, I meant to state this in the initial post. My next pass around may go further.
You didn't miss it. Just go sign up for either of the two boxes. I think both boxes are at step three of their journeys. If I recall, you would be #5 on either the odd or even box.
