Bought a French Famex razor.
Have wanted one for quite some time and the few I've seen have gone for much more than I wanted to spend.
So, when this 'close-to-death' looking specimen came up I was, maybe not unsurprising, the only bidder

I love the design of the head and that you can flip around the base plate for a more or less aggressive shave.

It'll be a week or so before I can check it out in person...but this is how the poor thing is looking right now:







But, new or re-plated they look real nice (different handle on this one):






So if the razor is structurally sound this might be a razor I'll try to find someone to replate....
