MDC w/ TOBS Rose Rapira Stainless Slim Adjustable Great shave again today thanks to the MDC. This stuff makes a great lather that is as cushioning as any I have ever seen while delivering a very good amount of slickness. There is a reason why of the 23 soaps I have there are only 4 that are in my normal rotation. The others I only used mixed with something else.
Well I can tell I am in vacation mode, I posted this on last weeks SOTD SOTD 2-16-15 Hot Shower and Prep -Nivea Men Sensitive Skin Face Wash Razor Merkur 34c Blade Ladas (4) - Really liking this blade! A little WH, love that Cucumber scent, and after cleanup some JB balm. Gotta finish with some OS. Getting cold here after a week in the 70s. Have a good one!

We'll be digging out of the biggest snowstorm in more than a decade in my neck of the woods.
It was a gold chrome i guess that I polished off to see what was underneath. The gold chrome looked a bit off with the brass head but now I think they look better together. How do you like your Plisson?
Good job - I think you really improved the look of the T2 handle. Really liking the Plisson. I actually find that I go for it more often than my SOC boar these days.
Great shot! Thanks for sharing! That is a great view! I am thinking to myself, "look at the mountains of lather produced by The brush of the Gods!"
Mike, that is a gorgeous brush! The handle material and shape are outta' this world! You may be the King of Unscented, but your brushes are loud and proud! I always enjoy seeing your posts and your amazing photos.
Jon, enjoy your family time in the Blue Ridge Mountains. That is such a beautiful area! Travel safely.
Thank you, you are very kind. Oscar11 does beautiful work, I am very happy to have some of his brushes.
Today’s Shave: After using Russian blades for over two weeks I went with the German Wilkinson today. Very sharp and extremely smooth in the mild blue tip. One of the best one day growth shaves I’ve had. There was no irritation, no weepers, and about 90% BBS. Ich bin ein Wilkinsoner. Face lathering cream continues to impress. Happy Menthol Monday to all! Growth: 1 day Prep: Shower; Corn Huskers Lotion Lather: Proraso Eucalyptus & Menthol Brush: L’Occitane Plisson Synthetic Razor: 1957 Blue Tip Super Speed Blade: German Wilkinson Sword (1) Post: Alum; Proraso Green Aftershave Lotion
Thanks - we actually left early so we can could get settled in before the storm. - Plenty to eat, read and watch - praying the power holds
Jim I went back and looked at my post, was running late this morning for a doctors appointment and had to go back and edit my post, to include that my Weber 3Pc is my preferred razor. And yes that is some brush, I have several in my rotation and I seem to prefer the WD, I Have an Oscar11 and an Oscar11OldCorps{which was a joint effort between myself and Steve aka Oscar11, He provided the handle and I got the knot and put it together, there isn a close margin between the two!}
