Whipped up the Cella with no problem with the WD. Almost done with my first tub of Cell that I got back in May. Good cushion and I really like the FB. The heavy handle and head gave me a nice smooth shave with no pressures with the Feather WTG XTG on my face on 5 and ATG on my neck on 3. A little WH, love that Cucumber scent, and after cleanup some JB balm. Gotta finish with some OS. Getting cold here after a week in the 70s. Have a good one!

I'm really digging that T2 handle

 

It was a gold chrome i guess that I polished off to see what was underneath. The gold chrome looked a bit off with the brass head but now I think they look better together.

How do you like your Plisson?

 

Good job - I think you really improved the look of the T2 handle.
Really liking the Plisson. I actually find that I go for it more often than my SOC boar these days.

Today’s Shave: After using Russian blades for over two weeks I went with the German Wilkinson today. Very sharp and extremely smooth in the mild blue tip. One of the best one day growth shaves I’ve had. There was no irritation, no weepers, and about 90% BBS. Ich bin ein Wilkinsoner. Face lathering cream continues to impress.

I went back and looked at my post, was running late this morning for a doctors appointment and had to go back and edit my post, to include that my Weber 3Pc is my preferred razor. And yes that is some brush, I have several in my rotation and I seem to prefer the WD, I Have an Oscar11 and an Oscar11OldCorps{which was a joint effort between myself and Steve aka Oscar11, He provided the handle and I got the knot and put it together, there isn a close margin between the two!}

Three pass shave with a couple touchups and although not perfect, I got a CCS. I did get one little nick in neck area cause I spend too much time working a couple rough spots trying to get the BBS. I need to quick that and I am! No irritation though!

I bought the two mugs at Goodwill to try out for 99 cents each! What the heck, right?

The Col. Conk Lime Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC3 Pure Badger Brush. Two passes with my Merkur 37c Heavy Duty Slant and a Personna Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Barfbasol after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Great looking Brush and also a Great looking Razor and handle.

Like my good friend Rod of Stirling Soaps says about his Glacial Lemon Chill soap, "dunk my head into a bucket of ice-cold lemonade? Why, that sounds positively delightful!" A perfect way to describe this awesome creation of his because this soap smells so lovely - fresh, zesty lemon with a menthol effect which pulverizes your face like the strongest of arctic winds, yet leaves it feeling so moisturized and comfortable after a shave. I love massaging my face with the Gold Bond moisturizer and getting its additional chilly jolt as well as its soothing feeling. Rod describes his Glacial Wintergreen witch hazel as a "punch in the face from a snowman who just brushed his teeth" and he's so right. What a fabulous, frigid shave I'm going to have in the morning!
