    THURZDAY
    Early Morning shave
Just getting around to posting this after an early dawn shave. A very pleasant shave using a DE razor and shaving cream—both of which I use infrequently.
Result? A 3-pass BBS shave. This was a great way to start what looks to be long day!
    Have a blessed Thursday, all!

Well, Guy. Vancouver isn't very similar to California, but it is a beautiful place! :lyrtuy5:

Nobody. See the Merkur blade? Nobody else admits to liking that particular brand; it's gotta be Kevin. ;)

Fourth day with the Pils 101NE. See my rambling fourth day shave report here
In short: much better shave! :)

    Razor: Pils 101NE
    Blade: Voskhod
    Brush: L'Occitane Plisson
Soap: Dr. Harris' Marlborough shaving cream (first time using this sample I got and I'll be honest in that it didn't impress me)
    ASB: T&H Ultimate comfort

Ditto. I do enjoy the DR Harris Marlborough woody/cedar scent, but the soap and creams were disappointing. I still use the aftershave, but not the soaps/creams.

I got to try the Dr Harris Windsor EdT and really, really loved it.
Don't see myself pursuing their shaving soap/creams though.

Today was the first day with the Futur in my injured hand. Needless to say i ended up slicing myself twice beCause of the shaky movements. I might have to stick with a lighter razor for a bit.

I didn't know you had any DE razors left. Although I'm not suprised you held onto to your R41.
    Great picture.
How do you rate Institut Karite products?

I've used the IK soap, cream and aftershave balm. My favorite of the lot is the Balm. Quality stuff...I did a review of it last March. My opinions on the scent has changed since the review. Its not nearly as 'rose-like' as my initial impressions led to speak about. Its a clean scent, not overly floral. See HERE.

The soap and shave cream is also very good. Same scent, but produce yield prodigious amounts of good shea-butter lather. For some reason, the cream tends to leave my face feeling dry, but not the soap. Either way, the balm 'fixes' any drying issues. My wife also loves the balm (unisex scent?) and uses it daily. Time for me to order another bottle of the stuff ($25). Not the cheapest product out there, but sometimes I don't mind paying for quality.
