I am not sure, I waited 5 months and magically the number of straights has grown from 1 to X this year. I am not sure how it happened? The first shave was awesome and it does look cool....
nnnnnn Those krona blades are nice blades Sir.....The Krona blade blew me away when I first used one and turned me into an NOS Injector Blade Fanatic....They work really well in Milder Injectors like the Adjustable .....That said.... They can deteriorate once opened like that, but I would be trying one to see.....The krona can be a tad tuggy with a heavier growth on the first pass, but they are as Smooth as Icing on a Cake there on after....Some folks don't like them because of that, but hey that leaves more for me as I snap them up when they come up in the Wild.... Schick Twin Injector Blades .... I got 3 packs of x 4 Schick Twin Injector Blades from the USA today....The seller was very kind with the postage costs.....I got these for £10.00 posted....They are a nice edition to my wee Twin stash of Trac 11s and Personna 11s ....I got these for my Personna 11 Floating Head Injector....I also use them in my Schick adjustable...I like the twin blades very much....Some folks say they get clogging problems....No problems here....These are not suitable for Schick Injectors with the Hydro Magic lever function and it says as much on the packaging.....They are not meant for the D, E, F or G Types either....They will fit all other Schick Injectors...They do not fit any PAL Injectors either as they have smaller & tighter heads...... Yesterday's mail brought ..... Gary over at Shoebox Shaveshop promptly delivered this along with a bottle of Arko ASB and couple blades thrown in. I've had great experiences with Gary. This photo is from this morning after last night's shave. Gonna be a beautiful bloomer and great go to.
I have yet to try a traditional slant. My Mulcuto just has a slanted cap. I am really interested to hear what you think about this one.
I love traveling out if state. The bottle says "TALCUM FOR MEN" on the back and has a metal cap. The ship is the same on the two mugs to the right but one has three ridges in side and the other is smooth. $40 for all. And the piece de resistance (sp).... $12. Pre cleaning and it doesn't adjust...yet.
In the mail box today. Vetiver is one of my favorite scents and Royall Lyme Bermuda does a great job blending a fantastic citrus/spice/vetiver cologne. As an added bonus my wife purchased this for me after discovering I had finished my last bottle.
I got a beautiful stainless steel brush handle today! Check it out in this thread. http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/new-stainless-steel-brush-handle.46627/page-2
The after cleaning of previously mentioned razor. It's an E4 date and the adjustment worked smoothly now.
That's a nice looking razor, but if that's what Mac traded away to get his recent Shake Sharp aquisition, I think Mac got the better end of the deal. I am, of course, biased.
