For each razor I will be selecting a song in which the razor (class E,F,G,J,L) was manufactured in. For September 1st: Razor - Schick E Brush - Ever Ready C40 w/TGN 3 Band Synthetic 24/53 mm Blade - 1960s Vintage Personna Vydax Coated Stainless Soap - Mentholated Vintage Williams Song - I Wished On The Moon – Billie Holiday 1935
I'll be using my Schick type J exclusively beginning tomorrow until my new to me type F arrives from Kentucky. If the F type is as good as I hope I'll use it for the rest of the Month.
My shave tomorrow will be with this lovely type G1 Schick injector razor. It came in the mail today and I could hardly wait to get it inside and clean it up. I switch from first shift to third shift between today and tomorrow so I may end up shaving at midnight instead of waiting any longer. And now for the part everyone wants to see, the pictures!
I will be posting here as I have decided to jump on the SEptember focus as it has occurred to me that I have neglected my SE razors. Most of them have been acquired in lots and set aside while I play with the DE razors. I dug through and pulled out a few examples. I think week one will include the Valet Autostrop with Feather blades. Week two will be injector week and split between my Schick B1 and G1. Weeks two and three will be for the Ever Ready and Gems. I got out the Ever Ready "1912", Micromatic Open Comb, G-Bar and Pushbutton. I look forward to learning the SE razor this month. Here's to a fun SEptember!
Your post got me looking through my drawer of neglected razors and I found another SE to add to my SEptember.
I just purchased my first SE so I'll be using a Gem micromatic after it arrives and I get it all cleaned up. I do so want an injector but that's down the road. BTW, Jim. Beautiful brush.

I'm sure you will fit right in. Join us on The Shave of the Day thread. It is fun, and you will see all kinds of products. And please Mark YOUR location on the TSD map - instructions here.
Here is my planned shave for tomorrow. I have only used this Gem Junior once, so there is a learning curve to deal with. The TSD soap will be slick enough and coupled with the coated SS blade (Ted Pella) should do the job. Dave
That's okay Karl. I never did the newbie intro myself. So welcome aboard. Great bunch here. You've already got a leg up with your RAD.
My planned shave tomorrow is my Valet with a Feather blade. TOBS Grapefruit Cream Nancy Boy AS Balm WSP Beard Oil Florida Water This is my first time using a Valet. Should be fun.
Here is what I have to choose from for SEptember. Tomorrow I will start with my "B". d And I will choose from these for the rest of the month. The Gem's and friends. And the Schicks
