What can I say? My willpower is pitiful in the sight of a beautiful vintage brush. I do hope that one spot in the brush isn't missing hairs. I'd hate to be forced to re-knot it.
Edit: the price was pretty good wasn't it? :D I like auctions that end on a holiday. Less bidders. :)

I'm picturing there being a big fat spider down that hole.

You are a sick and twisted individual.
I can see you read Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" at least twice.

This guy arrived. Whipped Dog ivory handle, 22mm silver tip knot, with the knot hole drilled an extra 10mm. I like a small brush.

I've been in touch with @gssixgun sent a W&B barber notch wedge for custom brush and scale set back in June. I'm getting anxious.

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the only authorized service center in the U.S. to square the second hand with the indicators, which they did not do, but that's a minor quibble. They also didn't offer to buff the crystal. but then I didn't ask. For a rare 1988 model that actually fits my wrist and is comfortable, and has a traditional no-nonsense style, I'm content.

On another upside, I cannot BELIEVE the quality of the pics on this new phone. Now my SOTD pics shouldn't look like they're shot at dusk through vaseline.

My ikon tech came today. Any suggestions on what blade to try and how it shaves?

That's my kind of watch, simple! Being your dads watch is very nice. You don't need know what the weather is, look outside. Is that a peace symbol? What make of new phone did you get? Crystal clear picture.

The iKon Tech is VERY aggressive! VERY! I would suggest you go nice and slow, I used a Lab Blue but any blade that you've had good shaves with is a good start. VERY aggressive.

LG G4. My old Motorola Droid Razr HD is about dead (planned obsolescence, I bet). The camera on that thing was awful. This G4 is really nice all around. I can't believe the closeups it took of the watch and I wasn't even trying.

Tomorrow, after work, I will be able to open up 3 packages. One is from Maggard, one from Stirling, and the final from Knockout. They will contain Mitchell's Wool Fat, Barrister & Mann shave soap, 2 containers of Stirling shave soap, Mickey Lee Drunken Goat, and JL Davis Bee Cool. Never heard of the last, but it was the deal of the week, so I figured I'd try it. Plussssss....... 10 Personna Lab Blues that I'm itching to try. I have NO idea what soap I'm gonna be lathering on Friday.

Almost forgot the Whipped Dog 24MM synthetic that should be here soon. I can't wait.......
