Don't see many Tuckaways in that condition. I'm waiting on this guy. ...and I'm patiently waiting for two other auctions to end. SBAD is a terrible thing.
My dad's old (early '90s) Citizen dive watch needed a new quartz movement and new hands but is due back tomorrow from the authorized service folks in Atlanta. Looking forward to wearing it often. Will be happy to post pics if anyone's interested.
I stopped at $23 I think you got it at a fantastic price though. And I'm happy to see that stopping buying shaving brushes is going so well
What can I say? My willpower is pitiful in the sight of a beautiful vintage brush. I do hope that one spot in the brush isn't missing hairs. I'd hate to be forced to re-knot it. Edit: the price was pretty good wasn't it? I like auctions that end on a holiday. Less bidders.
You are a sick and twisted individual. I can see you read Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" at least twice.
Well I think I hear a corresponding theme song here ... http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/corresponding-theme-song.46365/page-9#post-891050
This guy arrived. Whipped Dog ivory handle, 22mm silver tip knot, with the knot hole drilled an extra 10mm. I like a small brush. Greg W.
I've been in touch with @gssixgun sent a W&B barber notch wedge for custom brush and scale set back in June. I'm getting anxious.
