I'm thinking you do have a Canadian E....But one of the less aggressive ones...the ones that are very similar to a G type. And this is very cool...I'm thinking this way because my E2 is not very similar to my I2 or any J that I've tried. And not a diference that would take experience to notice, but a hit you over the head with a hammer difference...ha,ha... Still looks to me, like you have an extraordinary razor there...Enjoy!
Well...to be honest I don't know how may Canadian Types there were Sir....Its hard to tell in photograph's....Great you are enjoying it though.... Billy
These blades are surgically sharp Sir....A Feather like touch is the order of the day with them....Enjoy... Billy
Thanks guys, I have a feeling you may be right. I'm not that familiar with injectors and traditional wet shaving so I yield this to you all. My less than a dozen shaves with injectors has the J3 near the I2 for mildness, the G (G1 I believe) as higher on the scale. This Canadian may even be a tad milder. I'll do some more side by side comparisons. I still have tha PAL Adjustable to try if I want a more aggressive shave. I'm happy with the Canadian. It's a really handsome razor and appears to be one that will give a real fine two pass shave on a consistent basis. Plus my wife is Canadian so there's that connection as well. And if all else fails, I hear that @Darkbulb is still considering a PIF of his Type F! Edit - PS to @Bird Lives - if you attend the Seattle Shave Con would you consider taking your E2 with you? I'll be attending and can bring my Canadian for a side by side comparison just for jollies!
I'm digging this E2 Schick Injector so much....This is one of my all time favorites....It easily won a shave-off with my OCMM which was one of my all time favorites, and last nite it blew away my Star 1912....One by one this injector is cleaning out my Shave Cave.... I know the two closest shavers for me....like ever....Are like my ERs 1914 and 1924...Im thinking they will hold there own, but I thought that about my OCMM....it would be funny if this E2 was the most aggressive razor in my Den, while still being a High Speed ride! Tomorrow evening I'll take extensive photos for you to compare.... @Rufus T.
A shiney Schick Injector Ornament can raise the Artistic and Sophistication level of any Christmas tree at least several notches.....
I think a pif of Db's F type will only be in our dreams, in which case I've already been getting great shaves with it....Sorry @Rufus T. in one of my parallel universes....all piffed F types are sent directly to my shave cave for distribution....and the ones that are in good shape are distributed to shelves in my medicine cabinet.... Just kidding, in my regular Universe the complete line of Schick Injectors are still available in all Drug Stores and 7-11s along with 74 Personna and Schick plus plat blades....I think I saw you buying a couple razors just the other day....Which model Schick did you pick up for yourself?
I haven't picked up any injectors of late Sir....I have been stock piling some NOS Schick twin & Schick Krona blades though... I love just those NOS Schick Krona blades.... Billy
Sorry MrB, I had that same dream two nights ago and got to @Darkbulb 's type F before you did! The next night I dreamed I lent it to you for one shave. I'll expect it back tonight! (Unless @Billyfergie wants to borrow it tonight? Oh yeah, he already has one. - plus a Golden Schick Christmas special! Maybe that's my dream tonight?!)
I've only used my Schick Revere a couple times a few months back. After reading through the last 20+ pages I think I need to use a SE again and see what happens. 90% of my stock are DEs so I'm not familiar at all with the different models of Schick injectors. I'm in the process of moving, so most of what I have is packed and half way across the country already. I did keep these two back, but what models are they? PS, I checked the Schick website and the descriptions/pictures weren't very good.
