That is not a bad deal at all. I wonder if they will be able to have them out before end of the year.
They said home to have in our hands before Christmas. Xing my fingers so I can put under my virtual tree
Thanks the guy wanted 40 and I really low balled him so we eventually settled on 34 with shipping. Probably could have done better on auction but too busy for that right now.
Waiting on knots... Two silvertips 23.5mm Three pure badgers 18mm Three horse hair 21mm One finest two band badger 24mm
Still waiting on my type A repeating razor, tracking says it is delayed, it is in Tampa I hope I get it this week!
USPS used to ride horseback across the plains to deliver peoples mail on time, now we have all the technology in the world and can't get it right.
Waiting on the DeFitch v2.0 razor. Their description: "DeFitch has gone back to the drawing board and returned with the revitalized DF91 double-edged safety razor! Our vastly improved model features a 3.6" long solid brass handle that has a gleaming, long-lasting chrome plated finish. The razor head has been refined and honed to a beautifully even finish and provides the perfect blade gap to get an extremely smooth shave."
I happened to ask them about the likelihood of getting these delivered before xmas and their answer, a few minutes ago, was: "if you're in the USA or Canada, barring a manufacturing emergency, we expect you'd receive your pre-order before Christmas" So, looking rather promising.
I have yet to decide if I need the v2.0 as well as my v1.0 is really working great for me..... Hmmmmm.........
If I remember right besides fixing the cap they redesigned the baseplate so the blade rides evenly now and with the new MiM process they now have better finish and color matching with the all three base plates and the cap. Looks lot better to me than V1 that I have seen in reviews.
Oh don't get me wrong - I think it looks miles better than v1. Almost to the point where I have convinced myself it's worth getting. Btw, even though changing baseplates to get the aggression you want seems like a drag and a hassle - it's really not. It's surprisingly fun.
