I'm no longer waiting. My wacky flavours of shave cream have arrived at my home. Sad thing is, I haven't! Can't even remember what they are called but i only posted about it 48hrs ago! Need to leave the pub because I want to shave! SWMBO would kill me if she read this!
For those in America, a pubs a bar. For those that realised, hello. For those that didn't. Hopefully alcohol explains it all. For those that are straight cut razors, my weapon of choice is a revisor. I sooooo shouldn't be shaving tonight.
Dinner is served... Just had an excellent shave. This stuff is amazing. I used the purple one which soooooo smells like violet. Reminded me of my grandma who used to give me one of her violet drop sweets when I was young. Excellent stuff and bullet proof, or should I say alcohol proof as I just had a straight razor shave and have no cuts. Lathers amazingly and I will do a review at some point... when I'm sober.
Waiting on a 1913 Single Ring in a beat up case. I went out to Hancock Fabric Store, and scored a half a yard of thin black vinyl to re-cover the case with, and I already have a third of a yard of blue velvet to restore the interior with. I can hardly wait for it to arrive. I'm excited about this project, it's my first Single Ring restoration.
Hello David, I'm no expert, but I've been experimenting with restoring various cases for razors over the past year or so. I really enjoy it. This will be my first Single Ring case, and if it comes out well, I'll Replate the razor too. Here's a link to the auction, there are some photos of it there- http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/391321464400 I hope I can restore it well. I'll post some after photos when it's done.
Just ordered a few things from Italian Barber yesterday: a RazoRock Synthetic brush, Son Of Zeus bath soap, RR Amici, and a PPF CAD deodorant. Looking forward to trying the new gear when it gets here. I couldn't believe the brush was only $10 and the Amici soap was $2.99! Cant go wrong at that price, especially since the performance of RR soap IMO is great, and the synthetic knots are awesome as well. Havent tried the deodorant or bath soap yet so i'm curious to see how it goes.
Just pre-ordered the Revised Rockwell S6 razor and couple of their accessories. This revision looks a lot better using the MIM process Stainless Steel Razor with three reversible heads Their own Swedish Stainless Steel Blades Blade bank Razor Head Sheath
