It is vintage stock, Made in Germany and distributed by Phillips Medical Co, Omaha NE. Whether Revisor manufactured it or not, I couldn't say.
Keener, sharper edge. The lower grit stone like the 1000 is for setting bevel removing nicks....I still need a finishing stone a 20 k. I've used my 16k and there's a difference between the two

4 things is not a big list around here lol. Some people order things way more than I do. I do like to have a bit of variety and most of the things are relatively inexpensive, but your right I should have waited until after Christmas.... just couldn't help myself.
