    Great shave this morning. King Cobra was a gift for myself for Christmas and the Corbell shave bowl, and both Ginger Garden products were gifts to me for Christmas. The Havana Cognac items were from my Secret Santa and both are top notch products and I really like the scent profile of Havana Cognac. Have a great Christmas Day everyone.​

    My first DE shave!!

    Prep: Warm shower
    Brush: The Purest synthetic
    Razor: Three piece safety razor (from Wet Shave Club, not sure of exact brand)
    Blade: Personna lab blue
    Post: Witch hazel followed by Nivea Sensitive balm
    WTG, ATG, touch-up on jaw line

    As mentioned above this was my first DE shave. I've been using soaps and brushes for about a year now but waited until today to receive my razor! The feel is tremendously different than cartridges (I was using Mach 3 and had been for years and years). The immediate post-shave feel on my skin was smoother, not bumpy in any way. I have to watch the pressure - it's quite easy to go a little too hard. I only nicked myself once, below my bottom lip in a sensitive area. I was simply using too much pressure through there.

    I received A LOT of shaving goodies today and will be working through them diligently. I'm also going to try and find out the brand of this razor. A subscription to The Wet Shave Club was a gift.

    The razor is brand new to me. After an easy cleanup & installing a new blade, it shaves like a champ. No nicks & very smooth on a 3 pass shave.

    *One of my first AS's; Barber Shop Aid - Witch Hazel Distillate, Aloe Vera Gel, Tea Tree Oil, Chamomile Extract, Allantoin, Menthol USP, Tangerine and Guava Scent.
    Great burn & cool down, tasty scent. I have yet to see anyone else enjoy the product.

    Did not shave yesterday and today - tomorrow I'll use my new SOC badger and the Meißner Tremonia soap.

    I picked up a bottle of BSA Sport Heat from a local beauty supply store. I was impressed with the ingredient list and has a nice sweet scent to it. I agree that it doesn't get much mention on the forums.

    This is a shave with products made by three fantastic artisans. Rod's pre-shave soap is great stuff - it leaves your skin feeling so clean and really helps to soften up tough stubble. This new Bay Rum shaving soap from James Riley, the Obsessive Soap Perfectionist in London, England has a great scent - a very different type of bay rum which is not too clovey and more lemony. The You Tube videos I saw show it's really easy to lather which is so important and it gives great performance. I was also told that its skincare is terrific. The Bay Rum aftershave from Brian Krampert smells so beautiful and does it ever moisturize, as well as prevent irritation. ;) :D

    It was a Long time ago since i used CELLA, nice lather! Good protection even though 3 shims made the razor kinda aggressive. 2 shims is the sweet spot =) midget brush performs well =D it needs breaking in, slow but steady

    A little different Aftershave today because I'm going to bed now. I used a Kueshi toner and my daily night moisturizer The Body Shop Aloe soothing night cream for sensitive skin.

    Christmas day shave was an easy choice as I only have one razor with me at the moment. I can tell I am always going to be over the moon with my newly acquired Schick Type F. Why did they fiddle with things after making this one? One of life's mysteries. :pot:
