Reporting on two nice BBS shaves since I didn't post on my shave yesterday.
I used the Feather for the 3rd time in my Old Type yesterday. Today, it's the Wilkinson sword. The Wilkinson Sword took a little less effort to nab the BBS than the 3 day old Feather. The Chiseled Face Trade Winds provided plenty of slick and creamy lather. Clubman burned like fire both days, but it only lasts for a minute or so before adding that nice warm glow I like so much.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Well done. You can almost hear how happy you are in the post. It's a great feeling nailing a shave.

Yes it is. I was starting to worry that I wouldn't be able to figure out the Mongoose. I'm making progress thanks to doing a focus.

Im very happy for you. I've just taken myself off the mongoose list as they E-mailed saying the could only offer the satin finish and that they are stocking vendors soon with alumigoose. I will wait until I can get the very one I want

Those coats are :signs021:! Is it like the ones the British and European officers wear? Heavy machinery operators too I think Tom?

We had to fight for them we used to be out in tshirts. I can send you a plain one if you want they are inexpensive. It's not a problem I can get you them printed with anything for $25-30 dollars

    Feb 13 Focus Shave 9

Today's razor is a Rasurpur Western grind kamisori touched up on a Shapton 16k followed by Dovo red/black paste.

The razor was not super smooth nor rough. This razor always seems to take a sharp edge and today was no exception. I finished 3 passes with just a weeper. I thought about stopping there but I could not resist going for the BBS so I did the ATG pass. The alum gave just a little feedback and I just caught the baby. Have a great weekend.

Day 12 - Schick Repeater focus
    [IMG]

Managed a near perfect shave this morning with the B2 on a 4 shave old blade. I was commenting early this week that I was ready to give up on this razor but all of a sudden, three days in a row Ive pulled off really decent shaves. Seems like get the angle right, then slow complete north/south strokes. I manage to keep the angle correct this way I guess. Schick blades seem to get each day with day four as good as any day before.
