Joe Nobles

I was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Colwyn, a small suburban town to the South-West of the city proper.

I am married to Susie (since December 22, 1990) we have two kids. David (21) is our son. Sierra (26) is our daughter, she is married to Bryan Henry (30) and they have our only grandchild, Michaela (5).

Like many from my age group I love British Invasion Music specifically, but most Classic Rock generally. I am also very interested in 78 era Jazz. I have a large and ever growing collection of vinyl records and CD's. This collection includes a number of original pressings by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Miles Davis and others.

I worked for many years in Quality Control in various aspects of the Chemical Industry. I work with metals, cosmetics, flavor chemicals and adhesives. I liked them all but preferred metallurgy most of all.

Besides razors and recordings I also collect Trading Cards (mostly Golf, Cricket, Baseball and Famous Personalities) and Coins (UK, US and Australian). I enjoy ML Baseball, International Cricket, The NFL and NHL.

Antique cars (especially Studebaker and Dodge) and Rail Road history are other areas of interest I have.

I expect to be relocating back to the Philly region before too long after having lived here in Florida for the past 12 years. We came here to help my mother-in-law take care of her property but at 80 she is remarrying and we as a family feel it is time to go back Home.

BTW my Avatar image is the coat of arms of my maternal Grandfather's family, I use it because my mom's only brother passed away without children and so I commemorate the name.
