    zcws.gif

    TESC Pre-Shave Oil
    Speick Shave Cream
    Jayaruh #51 synthetic
The Bunny V3 with WILD comb
    Personna Injector
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Speick After Shave

Today is The Bunny's last shave in North Cackalacky. She will be heading to @richgem next.

The Speick Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #51 synthetic brush. Just one pass and touch ups with The Bunny V3 injector razor with WILD comb and a Personna Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Speick After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I want to thank Tom, @twhite , for his wonderful creativity in the design and creation of this really fine piece of work and for the opportunity to be a part of The Bunny Pass Around.

    48' Aristocrat razor
    Simpson Berkeley 46 badger brush
Barrister & Mann Bay Rum shaving soap
    HTGAM Bay Rum aftershave

I was inspired by Razorburn's Sunday SOTD SoS: March 28, 2016 - April 3, 2016 and decided to crack out the Aristocrat and Berkeley for Monday's planned shave.
The shaving soap and the aftershave are each on their last use, so decided what better way to finish them than together......both will be appearing on the "finished em off" thread if I can find it.

Good morning friends. Fantastic shave this morning, not a whisker in sight or touch and feel. I think this Twin blade hit it's peak yesterday as today i felt some slight tugging, nevertheless i will try for 2 more shaves depending on how it feels tomorrow. This RR Milionario whipped into some sweet smelling creamy goodness today, outstanding. Again today this razor was lightening quick to shave with for me. Stirling MITA Balm cooled the finish off nicely. Have a wonderful shave and a wonderful Monday folks. :)

  12. Hello TSD - here's my second April shave:

    0404.JPG

    - Jeeves of Hudson Street "Conservatory"
    - Mühle STF
    - Gold Dollar 208
    - Tüff sensitiv Rasierwasser

Two passes again, both a mix between WTG and XTG. After about a dozen or so shaves with a straight razor the handling feels more and more natural and I have been able to speed up the shaves quite a bit. On the other hand the result has not improved much yet - I am able to achieve something very close to a DFS now, and that's it. But I hope that will improve over time as well. For the next few shaves I will concentrate on keeping the correct angle at all times, which is especially difficult around the jawline.

I still haven't cut myself (well - now that I'm writing this I expect my next shave to turn into a bloodbath). Aftershave was pretty quiet.

Have a great day everyone :happy088:

  14. Menthol Monday
30° in April, cold water shave, and Krampert's Frostbite combo made for an excellent shave this morning. The slick lather made my fifth shave on this blade almost as good as the previous four, though I did notice some tugging. I think I'll toss this blade now - it's good to know that I could get 50 shaves out of the pack of ten blades. My face is still chilly, smooth and ready to go.
Prep: Body Shop Tea Tree Wash
    Soap: Krampert's Frostbite
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: Futur
    Blade: Rapira SS (5)
    AS: Krampert's Frostbite

    Menthol Monday

    Prep: Warm shower
    Blade: Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick G1 injector
Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic
    Lather: Proraso Green shaving soap
Post: Witch hazel splash, TSD SubZero aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

    Cold water 3.gif

Nice, efficient shave this morning with the G1 and Proraso Green. I forgot between uses of Proraso how generous the lather is from that soap, and how easy it is to generate. Proraso works so well. Some people find the immediate post-shave to be a little tight and dry. That may be, but the price and performance overall make Proraso a great shaving soap, in my opinion.

Went with the TSD SubZero splash for a little more menthol kick. Nice shave all in all.

Hope you have a great Monday!
