  2. Deal at twice the price!
  3. I had packed up, a superlative travel kit and was looking forward to using it....We were heading out on the Pacific Ocean Beaches of WA. For the first time...Had a nice trip...But the water in the room was kind of rust colored, so I opted to not shave or shower....Came home the next day, and was too tired to shave last night...So today I had a normal shave-Cave-shave....

Actually....since I had missed a couple days I had a pretty heavy whisker foundation...Man, these whiskers are getting "White"...ha,ha....looked like I was preparing to audition for a Santa gig at Macys...lol!

And I remember when I first discovered and rediscovered Injectors, it was both times the I2 Hydro-magic....When I rediscovered them I used this Schick I2 with a CVS/Personna, and hadn't shaved in a few days...This Hydro-magic; known for being mild, annihilated those stiff whiskers....Thought I would try a reenactment.....

One Pass DFS...........Two pass BBS......Squeaky Clean, bang a gong, swinging from a tree, beating my chest, dolphins in a jealous rage....smooth!

Good to see my first love still has it!!!! :love055:
  4. Another two pass BBS. This one is a keeper.

  5. @Bird Lives post about his multi-day beard and the efficiency of his trusty I2 inspired me to break out my black I1. I had about 3 days of beard and I had been thinking of the I1 as it is my birth year razor and I recently had one of those big birthdays. You know, the ones that end in zero. I didn't know how old the NOS Personna II was so I sacrificed it early into the first pass as there was more tugging than I hoped for. That gave me a chance to load a NOS Schick Twin. Still slow going but, hey, it was three days of beard. :git:

Long story short was I ended up with another super close, super smooth shave. No cuts, no nicks, no weepers. Nothing but face rubbing goodness. Dolphins ain't got nothing on me. :happy036:

  11. Wedgeday shave

Today I shaved with my Rolls. Had a DFS with 3 passes.

I have only worked on this blade in the Rolls setup. This weekend I will hone it outside with lapping paper. To see what this is really capable of.

    Have a great night.

  14. A Saville Row brush is right for this razor.....I always said if Aston Martin made a razor.....it would be a Schick...and now looking at yours....that I1 definitely seems like it should be in the Connelly Leather, Aston Martin Shave Kit...;that they haven't thought of yet; Talk about a missed opportunity!
  15. Thank you. I've been looking forward to this one. It was lost in the mail for three weeks and resurfaced today.

  18. When @Billyfergie first saw my Carrington-Vintage Stag Brush refurbs with the bake-lite handles, the first thing he said was that they were gonna look great with E2 butterscotch handles...He was so right! Looks like Stag and Schick planned this out together....
    Case in point:
    image.jpg
The Clubman Original and Aqua Velva Musk fit right in with the "Butterscoth" theme.....Maybe a wee dram of The Macallen 18 would round out things nicely.....
  19. Nice those Purple Ones..:love055:
