This will be the 140th documented shave with the TOBS Lavender. It's almost gone... Maybe one more shave left.

The Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #70 silvertip badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Bunny V-3 razor with a Schick Stainless Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

2 pass shave this afternoon. Love the scent of Captains pipe, loaded right from the tub today and had little pieces of soap stuck in the brush, had much better luck scooping a small amount out and bowl lathering. Today's shave was a bit rough, not sure if these blades are for me. Quite a bit of tugging for a new blade. Finished off with WSP Tobacco. Hope everyone had a great shave!

I think I must be jinxed. Another blade that performed wonderfully in last month's focus tonight was rough and tugged, just like the Voskhod. Unlike the Voskhod though I didn't bleed. There was some irritation and a few missed spots but I ended up with a DFS. The Amici lathers so easily and smells fantastic, I can't believe it was only $3. I might be able to get one more shave in before the Bunny arrives to try my last finalist. We shall see. Have a great day folks!
