To me it is. It's also discontinued, and can only be found on the secondary market, thus the continual hunt and hoarding. My friends recently took a trip to Italy and I had them scouring every store and pharmacy looking for it. No luck.
I was in a thrift store yesterday and thought I hit the jackpot. They had 5 stagecoaches, a couple polar bears, a bunch of cars and a entire chess set but alas all were empty. I left there sad

$12 for this NIB/NOS Wilkinson razor. It's the somewhat more rare model with the silver cap and the all-black knurled body I know..super exciting...but I'm happy
Waiting on three two band badgers from Virginia Sheng and four Maggard 22mm synthetics and an Omega 49 from Maggard. That is seven knots for 9 handles.
On the plus side I got to smell the different scents. I really liked Wild Country, Everest and Leather and will be looking for it.

I usually don't like to leave any evidence behind, especially on the internet but this weekend was especially kind to me. There are just two razors that I wanted to acquire and then my curiosity would be satiated, a Koraat and a Mastro Livi. A good friend at The Den was looking out for me and gave me first chance to buy his Mastro Livi. It is now on it's way here. Thank you Adam ( @Drygulch ) This weekend I also got an email from Ulrik my custom Koraat is ready. I ordered it just two weeks ago!
It'll take some time cleaning this up and it's missing the liner for the inside of the top cover, but got it for a decent price.
Trying to decide the color, maybe velvet. Some look red or purple from pics online and looks like it'll need lining for the bottom also. Interested in finding out how much of the silver plating is still on it. And after all is done, will have to find a razor blade case for it, hopefully at a good price. Who knows, this might be a good candidate for a complete re-finish, depending on it's original condition. Maybe a satin nickle............
