  4. Thank for the compliment. I have really been enjoying it. I agree that the knot is the most important/functional part, and this brush has not disappointed on style or performance. I am by far a brush expert, but the TGN Grade A Silver Tip Badger feels great, has just the right back bone for my use, holds water like a sponge, and lathers like a champ. Combined with Peter's awesome customer service and you can't go wrong. This brush really has kicked up my daily morning shave enjoyment more then any other single product!

  6. Been watching this on the Bay, but really didn't want to dip into my Ebay credit. So, my GF said she'd cover it on my next payment. Guess I got me a new razor. Ok, the box and razor don't match, but a New OC would go into it nicely and I do have another case with blade bank for a temporary home for this razor.

  11. Thanks guys!! I'm pretty jazzed!! I will now have both DE's I've wanted for a long time. Weber and now the Oristo (RRBM)
  12. Haven't bought much shaving related lately but $16 for a NIB Personna Floating head injector was too good to pass up

  14. Currently Inbound:
    • Pen case. Should work to hold some straights. Holds 48 fountain pens.
    • Stone holder
    • B.I.R.R. Razor from Sheffield, pre 1891, wedge with original horn scales.
    • Nessel French round point, with new acrylic scales. Check out the wedge.
    • And three newly restored American Straights form the Little Valley, NY area. One will be a Kinfolks, not sure about the others. (No pictures.)

  15. You scored a nice one there!
  16. A Drygulch 3 inch wide American Bridal strop, with a Hemp linen 2nd side. (sadly this is going to a friend in USA before it makes its way to me, as I have a few bits at his waiting to come over to the UK to me) works out cheaper postage and customs etc......

Cant wait to use it, as I have heard Adams strops are good.

I will post a review on it when I eventually get it.

    Thanks Adam

  17. I fully blame @mrchick for this. It's a printing plate. They can also be used on leather as a stamp. This one's a strop.

  18. Heading to the Post Office in a little bit. I live so far out in the woods the Postman is afraid to make home delivery. Per UPS/USPS tracking my large order of blades should be in. We'll see.
  19. Picked up this 70 year old Captain Midnight membership coin.
So many were recently found that it collapsed the collector's market. I paid $7 for this one.

Oh, and it spins on the tip of the propeller on the front of the coin ;)

Ebay has heaps and they're normally about $5-10 depending on quality and material (bronze and one 'something else')
