Waiting on a mini pry bar from Vosofferyn It's a mini "Bird of Pry" in titanium. Video of it Also added his Ti bead to 'go with it'... This is a pre-order and the item itself slated to be delivered w/in four weeks. More rumored to drop (less than ten I believe) on Friday, noon, PST on his site. When asked earlier today what it's for the answer came out; "Well, you can pry open things with it...like..cans... and it has a bottle opener...and you can..uh..measure things with it on the back..." The more honest answer would probably be that I really like Robert's designs - they are almost functional art pieces to me - and if I can help supporting a fellow Californian continuing to make stuff I'm more than happy to do so. That and, not that I ever will...., but the second-hand market for his stuff is 4-5x what he sells them for....
Just noticed a Facebook message from a friend back in Rochester, NY and said he was sending me an Avon Barber Shop Shaving Brush Bottle, with box, still full of Wild Country cologne. He found it in an old box his Dad had and he might possibly have more, but won't know till he goes through other boxes which are in storage. A nice addition to my other Avon bottles, especially with the Avon razor decanter. Not my pic, borrowed it from the web.
Im waiting on 3 witch hazel bottles from the US. I hope I dont get vat and told fee=P Has anyone used this WH? =) Also im waiting on Citrus Royale Pheonix&beau from Tuxxdk from Denmark
I've got one coming too. Went ahead and decided to stock up on a few things with gifting season about a month away. Added the RR400 for myself...
The handles are very nice but the knots are pretty much available to anyone. There are others who make nice handles out there. The knot makes the brush. The handles are eye candy.
Sometimes sacrifices must be made lol. I think I'm going to put a finest 2 band in that ER Sent from my Galaxy S6 using Tapatalk
Thank for the compliment. I have really been enjoying it. I agree that the knot is the most important/functional part, and this brush has not disappointed on style or performance. I am by far a brush expert, but the TGN Grade A Silver Tip Badger feels great, has just the right back bone for my use, holds water like a sponge, and lathers like a champ. Combined with Peter's awesome customer service and you can't go wrong. This brush really has kicked up my daily morning shave enjoyment more then any other single product! Steve
Been watching this on the Bay, but really didn't want to dip into my Ebay credit. So, my GF said she'd cover it on my next payment. Guess I got me a new razor. Ok, the box and razor don't match, but a New OC would go into it nicely and I do have another case with blade bank for a temporary home for this razor.
Thanks guys!! I'm pretty jazzed!! I will now have both DE's I've wanted for a long time. Weber and now the Oristo (RRBM)
