Jason @jtspartan has The List. There's already a thread HERE where we can post photos. The 1mb file size is going to make a huge picture/file when combined. No need to do email. Since I have the itch to see all the variations I'll post there and present the poster project.
Razor: Mongoose AlumiGoose w/ iKon Bamboo Blade: Feather Professional (4) Brush: Oscar 11, w/TGN Silvertip Soap: RazoRock Don Donato A/S: RazoRock Don Donato Didn't shave yesterday. Got home a little late. A DFS today.
Yesterday, I grabbed the R41 and, with 2+ days growth, had an effortless shave. No nicks, no weepers. This experience reminds me when I first started with my 2013 R41...weird.
You certainly live in God's country. Just beautiful. As great as the scenery looks I couldn't hang with your winter.
Thank you very much Clint. My grandfather would say a man could get used to hanging if he could do it long enough.
I am with Jared on this one, skip the guard blades, they feel strange and encourage you to use pressure. Once I switched out the guard blades for the Pro blades my shaves improved and my the learning curve became much faster.
I say that to my wife every year around February. "Time to think about moving south". Then Summer rolls along and I wonder how I could think of living anywhere else. One way of looking at it is that winter keeps all the people away.
It would certainly keep my wife away. According to her it is entirely too cold in Atlanta during the winter. Given that the places for us to move are very limited.
Plus, if you are already comfortable with a straight when you start with an AC, the only thing you are really gonna have to focus on is a super light touch. You will have it made.
I have a lot of scars..each one has a story or lesson that goes with it. Most are learning things...some came from helping others. Keep up the good work.. Chunky red heads dig scars by the way. I will work on this tomorrow! N'arf!!!
Used a homemade Williams shave stick today. Worked great which will surprise some because it is modern Williams. If you are having problems with Williams I suggest you grate the puck down. Pack it back into a bowl or make it into a stick. No need ever to molest the Williams though. Hope all you folks are doing good and had a great Sunday!! It's pretty soggy around the Red Stick.
