  1. Glad you are doing well Adam. Happy belated birthday to your daughter. :bounce017:
  2. Razor: Gillette 1930's OC Ball End
    Blade: Personna Tungsten 74 (11)
Brush: Elite Razor Gold Laced Black Onyx w/Tuxedo
    Soap: B&M Latha Oceana
    A/S: Myrsol Aqua Balsamic

Still getting great 3 pass shaves with these tools. The Elite Razor handle works excellent with the APShave Tuxedo knot. I like the extra weight of the stone handle.

    Razor: English Flat Bottom New
    Blade: GSB(3)
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

So, this evening was my first shave since Tuesday morning before my procedure. In keeping with the theme for the month, I went with with an open comb. Moreover, I have an English Flat Bottom Tech coming early next week, so it seems like it might be a good time to have a couple of shaves with its OC counterpart.

Going into this evening's shave, I was on to 3 1/2 days growth. Now, there's nobody here but us babies. :)

BTW, I almost forgot to mention something... In our circles, we talk a lot about med prep blades and associated razors. At the hospital where I had my procedure, the state of the art is a rechargeable clipper with indivuallly-packaged, single-use blades. (Though I don't know if they just toss them or recycle them.)
  10. Congrats. Your razors are beauties!

I sent my NEW LC to Delta Echo for a spa treatment a couple of years ago. It came back looking great and packaged superbly as shown in your photos. The finish is perfect, cleans easily, and it wears like iron. They even soldered a small crack in the handle for me.

Does anyone know if Delta Echo's coating process reaches all the internal parts of the razor? Or would you find the original Gillette finish (and maybe even some of the vintage gunk) if the razor was dissembled? I don't understand the process well enough to know for myself.
  11. I have to agree with Clint, Doug! Beautiful!
  12. Great looking razor, Charlie!
  13. Hi Jim, and thank you for the kind words. I've posted these NEW LC "beauty and the beast" photos a few times. If anyone is on the fence about using the services of Delta Echo, these photos should convince them to give it a try. As you can see, I chose a vintage color, but I love seeing the Delta Echo razors with all the bold and interesting color schemes.
  14. Glad to see you are feeling better after the procedure and were able to enjoy a nice shave. Still praying for your full recovery.
  15. Great before and after pictures Charlie. Not sure about the internal parts but I bet Delta Echo would answer the question.
  16. No shave day tomorrow. Last two weeks of OCtober, I'll be using this...

And then the last week, this...

  17. Thank you, Clint!
  18. The Gaston avator is mine all mine, Jason. :happy102:
  19. Sigh.
  20. I'm forced to get a lot of mileage out of each of my jokes due to my limited repertoire. :D
