    I was just re-reading the ingredients on that Rise Shave Gel-Aloe Vera is listed. My focus for this is to try to pretend it is something like Barbasol, Rise Super Foam, etc..(that is, something I can SEE), and work from there. It's a nice shave when prepared right.

    Thank you Doug. After being somewhat disappointed by Vulfix badgers this much denser knot, and a WD High Mountain restored my curiosity.

    Thank you Randy. It is surprisingly easy to grip. The semigloss finish doesn't hurt, but the shape fits my hand well. I may try crafting a Cypress handle and leaving it unfinished to see how the wood weathers. I like this bit from Wikipedia - It 'has long been valued for its resistance to water, and thus is denominated "wood eternal".'

    Paul, have you experimented by mixing products? Try half and half of the clear non-lathering and something else. I've found it can lend attribute of both products. That's why it's called Super Lather!
