Hi folks, I was feeling a bit decadent this morning, so for today's SOTD I used a 1909 Gillette ABC Pocket Edition Razor set, and achieved a fantastic DFS in one full pass. God Bless, and have a great Sunday- Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

14 January 2018 Really breaking with my "tradition" (read habit) this morning. For several years, I've rotated between two razors and 4 or 5 brands of blades that work well in each razor. Load in a new blade after Saturday's shave and start off Sunday with a fresh blade. Consistantly get 7 DFS+ to BBS shaves all week. Starting this month, I was trying various blades that I retired for one reason or another and my 7 shave rotation is out of whack. Got only 1 shave out of a Wilkinson Sword blade on Sunday. Got 3 lousy shaves from a Voskhod. But on Thursday, I loaded a Polsilver SI intending to use it for 3 shaves and get back to my normal rotation this week. Not gonna happen! This blade, in this slant is giving me some of the best, if not the best shaves ever. So, I'm going to ride this horse until it starts to falter. Stayed with the same set-up as yesterday and will continue using it as it's a perfect match for me. Soap: RazoRock Classic Brush: Omega 10086 - black handle not shown in pic as I'm not going to take another pic Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant Blade: Polsilver Super Iridium (4) Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman

Prior to starting my journey to review 40+ soaps in this thread, Catie’s was one of my favorite soaps. Now, having sampled some of the best of the best today’s artisan soaps, it’s dropped down the list a bit. Still a good soap, but the slickness, protection, and latherability of some other artisans really outshines it for me.
