I`m researching 2 piece razors. They are so easy to slip a `Snapped` de blade in (load). I need something that is pretty mild because of my tremors, and I have a ton of de blades. It`s just research. I will more than likely PIF them with a couple of de razors I no longer use. Thanks for the info. Bill
Parker Variant razor Silver Star blade VeraSoapCo Peppermint SS Plisson/L'Occitane brush Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Basbasol Brisk A/S w/added menthol Another great shave from the above. So what did I learn this week? That this is a great combo for me and I could use it everyday but I don't have to cuz we have so many choices and that's super nice. Also, using the same setup for length of time helps us to understand our gear and that's always good. Anyway, my face is very happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Fougere Friday Fantastic shave today. The lather smelled great and provided the slickness needed for the Vision to destroy my stubble closely and comfortably. A 2 1/2 pass shave, WTG/ATG/ then lather only the neck and turn that little plastic masterpiece loose. Rinse with warm water, then really cold water. One tiny weeper disappeared with the cold water. No little red dots on my Kleenex test. Applied Mennen Afta for a BBS. Happy as a flea on a dog`s back. God go with each one of you. Bill

Brush: WDC-8/Maseto 24mm 2BF Soap: D.R. Harris Lavender Stick Razor: Igor (on loan) Blade: Gem Blue Star Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Vitamin E Oil, Cella Eau de Lavande First time with the Igor and I tried it on mid setting. It's a very audible razor and has quite a bit of blade feel even on mid setting. Both helped me find and maintain the ideal angle. When rinsing whilst shaving it needs a few shakes, as the head holds a lot of water, possibly even more than a 1924. I'm very impressed indeed and it never ceases to amaze me just how talented some members of these forums are. If this was for sale or a Kick Starter project I'd be all over it. Happy Shaving one and all.
Custom Lady Eversharp Razor Vintage Personna Injector Blade Frank Shaving Badger Brush Vintage Klar Shave Soap Dickinson's Witch Hazel Avon Wild Country After Shave (Snoopy) Avon Wild Country Cologne (Brush) I wasn't going to shave today, but I had to try out this razor I worked on (http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/custom-lady-eversharp-razor.59329/#post-1414030), in case you want to see how I did it. I ran out of new blades, but loaded the razor with one from an older Personna dispenser. Since my early model Schick I (55) is my favorite injector razor, I pretty much compare other injector razors to that one. And I have to say, it was a great shave, maybe even better than my I, at least an equal to it. The handle just feels so good and easy to control, and the older Personna blade seemed to feel a bit sharper and smoother compared to modern ones. After two passes, it was a nice DFS shave, but finished the shave with some minor touch up for an excellent smooth and comfortable BBS shave.

Today's shave Hot water wash with a washcloth Hoffritz pure badger Sara's Creations Loud Lavender Merkur Progress (3.5) Rapira ss (1) Laboritorios del Pueblo Lavender Florida Water This afternoon's shave was very nice. I used a blade given pif here at the den. I don't remember having used this brand before. It was quite nice. It felt very keen and reminiscent of Ladas (one of my favorites). The progress did it's usual excellent job. Sara's loud lavender filled the room and made very nice lather. Finished with Lavender Florida Water. Quickly becoming my favorite setup (at least a setup i reach for often). Hope y'all did as well, or better.
