I seriously need to stay off eBay until I can get my RAD back under control! This afternoon, I was checking my vintage razor saved search for newly listed items and ended up buying this for $15.99 plus free shipping: A B-type Schick Repeater. The listing also mentions a case but in was not shown in the photos. This is my first Repeating Razor. Is that finish silver or nickel? Also, probably a stupid question, but did I do okay on the price?
I believe it’s silver. I had a silver one . Also the price is a steal. If you needed to flip it you would easily get your money back. The only draw back is loading.

Yes, from what I've now read, it is apparently a B1 and is Sterling Silver. There were only two pictures with the listing (which weren't the greatest), but it doesn't look like there's a lot of tarnish, just the usual razor crud. As for the price, I honestly was surprised that the listing lasted as long as it did (about 30 minutes). I couldn't recall one that inexpensive before and jumped on it.

I saw that and it did look easy. I have to admit that I've been wanting one since pretty early in my journey, back when people like @twhite and @Rufus T. were raving about them, but they always seemed to be a bit more than I wanted to spend on a single razor. Hopefully, this one will not have any hidden issues.
I saw very crusty FatBoy with an unknown date; made the seller an offer that was accepted. I found it hard to resist the price. It's number four for me ... have a 58 and two 59s ... I'll be giving a 59 to my oldest son ... not sure what I'll do with this one.

I’m expecting two different shipments from Stirling. The first is aftershaves, and the second is brushes............at least that’s what I remember ordering. I think there’s some shampoo bars and a couple shaving soaps too. Shipping is routed all over the place, so it’s always a small surprise when I forget what I ordered.
I needed a WWII Tech case and found this. It needs re-lining and was at a very good price. The razor is just a plus as the cost with shipping was actually lower than just for a case by itself.
I am waiting for the end of December! I haven’t shaved in 2 months, because I had to grown a scruff for a stage play I was in, cast as a hobo. Now I have been cast as a Santa type figure for a Christmas show, and I need this beard to be full bloom by the end of November... I miss shaving...
